Based in Portland, Oregon the idea to create a helmet company with a creative approach came actually five years before it’s start in 2005 at a college Civil War football game when the founder of Nutcase Helmets placed 4” screws on top of his favored team’s helmet, then placed the rival team’s mascot through those screws to represent their impending loss.
Today Nutcase Helmets is a serious leader in the industry not only with their imaginative style but with their toddler helmet line; Little Nutty.
